Dave's Swingtime Big Band -- guest vocals Temple Israel 3183 Mecartney Road Alameda, CA 94502 They hold a monthly Big Band Concert/ Dance in Bay Farm (out in Alameda) the last Wednesday of every month. Their repertoire includes hits from the 30's to the 60's. It's an 18-piece big and performing east and west coast swing, rumbas, waltzes, cha chas, tangos, night club two-step and a few other surprises! This is my first time sitting in with them (or anyone like this!) so please come out and show support for these guys -- and shake a thing or two while you're at it! The show is open to the public. |

(p.s. singing with a big band's always been a secret little mini dream of mine. Not sure what to expect, but looking forward to making it a fun time.) |
