It’s that time again to celebrate all the Dads out there. Each year, for as long as I’ve known them, the First United Methodist Church in Pt. Richmond holds a jazz service for Father’s Day–a full Sunday morning service in song with some of the Bay Area’s most talented musicians (and that includes Pastor Dan Damon on piano). Am honored to be invited again this year to share a couple of “musical” messages. The building is one of the East Bay’s hidden gems and a truly lovely way to spend a Sunday morning.
